I think the question is entirely reasonable. It has certainly passed through my mind. After all, I´d like to see the Redskins rebound as well as possible from this tragedy. And this is what Sean Taylor would have wanted. If he had lived, what would he have wanted? He would have wanted for his teammates (his friends) to kick a**, even if he couldn´t play. Considering salary cap implications is part of the process allowing the team to repair.

Independent of the above, I would hope that Mr. Snyder will also make sure that some of what would have been paid to Sean in a new contract will be given to his girlfriend and daughter, along with the name of an honest financial advisor.
