He's been a really good special teams guy a solid tackler. Rather than moving him in and out of the lineup I'd rather see PP keep playing in the nickel and dime and let Reed stay in the standard packages. It's gotta be tough for him watching game film on the first half of the season to watch what his postion should do against different offensive options.
I think it says a lot about what the coaches think of his potential that they kept so many safeties at the beginning of the season.
