Has anyone noticed that quite often backup QBs come off the bench, have a great game or two or three, and then it's like the defenses adjust to them and it's all over? It's almost as if the defense gameplans for one QB, the backup comes in and is able to accomplish quite a bit.
Don't know, just seems like something of a pattern to me. Maybe it's cause we have such low expectations for a backup that even moderate performance looks stellar.
I'm not saying Collins was "moderate" today, before someone jumps on me. He did awesome - came off the bench and got us a win.
