ive heard that if you draft a player and between 2-4 years after you draft him he dramatically exceeds expectations he gets a gem symbol, and if he doesn't he gets a bomb to represent a bust...

I havent comfirmed that but thats what I read on a madden forum once...

there was another guy that said it was an explosive player, but I doubt that since it doesn't show up until a few years into your franchise...
