Bleed -- from what I remember, he saved her while dying himself. Why people go out on something like that without a life jacket is besides me. I'm a very strong swimmer, and I won't go out and do water sports without a life jacket, or at least water wings!

Even canoing, I watched a guy drown right in front of me on the Shenandoah River because he tipped and got sucked in by an undertow. It doesn't take a lot to drown and a life jacket will do much better at pulling you up. (Strangely enough, the person that died was the Brother of one of my step-dad's clients in Michigan, small world)
