Re: Proud of the team for this season
You know, I've been starting to think something similar. I've been very frustrated with Gibbs' clock management this year, and some other things here and there. But when you consider all the crap this team has gone through, 7-7 is a pretty admirable coaching job.
It's not a coaching job up to par with what he used to do back in the 80s, because that Gibbs never made these kind of clock management mistakes. But Gibbs II is clearly just as effective as ever when it comes to bringing men together to scratch and claw and fight for a common goal, especially when faced with adversity.
As for the players, they've done nothing but show heart the whole season. And amazingly, they haven't come apart at the seams, even after dealing with ST and Gibbs' double timeout against the Bills.
Overall, I'm very proud of this team.
