The biggest issue for me is that I want to be in my living room on the 1080p when I'm playing a game. I have 2 PCs and 3 laptops, but I prefer the console for games. I guess a part of it boils down to personal choice.

Yeah the graphic requirements for COD4, Bioshock, Gears of War, etc., are pretty high from what I understand, if you want to get the full potential out of the game.
It's definitely an issue of personal choice. For me I just like the ease of buying a console and not having to worry if a game will come out tomorrow that my computer can't handle.
