Defensively, I probably haven't mentioned this on this site before but I think Justin Smith would be a great pickup  If we go the draft route to get a DE, then that's where I think you spend your first round pick. I think Carter has more than proven himself at the other end and Wilson has emerged as a good 3rd down pass rusher. One guy who had an underrated year this past season was DeMetric Evans when they lined him up on the inside. |
Justin Smith?? He's a solid player on a bad defense. But why would Cinn. let him walk when he's probably their best defensive player? We need a dominate guy with a high motor on our front 7. I just don't see that in Smith. We gotta draft a guy. Someone like a Ware or Merriman. Someone that just creates havoc.
