I don't know how anyone can say we aren't better off. Look at all the players we had at key positions on the Spurrier team who are out of the league now. Check this out:2003 Washington Redskins

This was not a team built for the future, the present, or really anytime. We aren't where I'd like to be now, but we are definitely better off.
