I agree. He's a very underrated key cog in our run defense.

From a cap perspective, there are only two things the Redskins should be thinking about doing with him:

1) Cutting him outright (or letting him retire, either one), thereby saving $3.0 million in 2008.

2) Extending him for another three years in order to keep him and get his 2008 cap number ($3.75 million) down. A simple restructure will do no good, he only has one year left on his deal.

I prefer #2.
