I too hope it's GW. IMO he's been acting much like a HC over the last season. The caveat is it will only work if Saunders stays as the head coach-offense or something like that. If GW has to rework the offense than we're in trouble, but if these two guys stay on together this should be a real positive move.
Questions:
When Saunders signed on he would have been well aware of Gibbs intention to hand the reigns to GW eventually, right? Why would Saunders come on board and then leave as soon as things developed?
Wouldn't Saunders like to prove to everybody (again) that his high-flying system is the real deal? What better opportunity than to take this offense to the next level in '08 with all the world watching.
