I think you summed up my sentiments about Coach Gibbs and his reasons for stepping down. I love Coach Gibbs and will remember how his presence was felt on his second return. However, it was time. After a close defeat, Coach Gibbs always sounded depressed and drained from the loss. It's time to get a Coach with wisdom, knowledge of the NFC east and of course able to beat the shit out of Dallas!
