I guess that is just where I would prefer to be. I'd rather rebuild with my players, than to use the players given to me by someone else.
He's got a long way to fall right now with Dallas, but he has almost no where to go but up in Baltimore, and Baltimore has some talent still lingering (unlike Atlanta). I guess that's my thought. Plus, I have a head coach mentality, and now he's stuck in the OC position for at least 2 more years if not longer.
Also, if the Cowboys lose next year, it will likely be because the offense took a nose dive, so why would they promote the reason they got worse? He HAS to maintain his current level on offense, and quite frankly, I don't think it's possible. Look at how poorly the offense ran at the end of the season. He was getting figured out.
