Re: Just one man's honest opinion please make it count Mr. Daniel Snyder
"I want our O-line to dominate and protect at the line of scrimmage. If you think about it many of our players are similar to the Pats... Wes=Santana, Stallworth=Randle El, Portis is much better than Maroney, Cooley is better than Graham, we have Campbelll at QB and they have Brady which is a huge difference and they have Randy Moss as well. We really arent that far off, we need a Randy Moss, Anthony Mix does not equal Moss, but he is tall and could develop."
Excuse me?
Wes Welker equals Santana Moss? On what planet?
Donte Stallworth equals Antwaan Randle-El? Maybe if Stallworth had a broken leg they'd be equivalent.
Jason Campbell is nowhere near Tom Brady in terms of knowledge or productivity at QB as of January 2008. You can't even put them in the same zip code let along the same sentence.
Anthony Mix is mentioned in the same sentence with Randy Moss after Moss just set a record by catching 23 TD passes in a season? Don't let the Feds get hold of whatever it is you are smoking because if it ain't illegal now, it will soon be.
Portis is better than Maroney but I'm not sure it's by that huge a margin. In big games, Portis has come up small in the past; Maroney seems to play very well when it really matters.
I'll grant you that Chris Cooley is much better than any and all the TEs on the Pats' roster.
And then there is the OL. These guys have been under the tutelage of certified genius and line coaching legend Joe Bugel for four years. Which of them starts for the Pats? Maybe a healthy Randy Thomas? Maybe not? That's a toss-up...
To get this batch of Redskins to play offense like the Pats played in the 2007 season, you don't need "new-blood" as an offensive coordinator. You need Cinderella's fairy godmother as the offensive coordinator.
