One thing that has been said with Vinny being promoted - it now puts the pressure squarely on his shoulders. If the teams makes some huge blunders on things like trades and drafts, there will no longer be the "we made all the decisions together approach". I actually like that the team now has a peaking order to the decision making and we can squarely put blame and praise on front office moves on someones shoulders.
Good observation - it's put up or shut up time for Vinny. No more hiding behind personnel "decisions by consensus". I'm not overly confident, but I hope that Vinny proves us wrong and kicks ass in his new position.
