But sometimes, you just have to accept that things take time. It's sort of like that saying "Buy a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he'll eat for life."

Snyder needs to remember he's more than just a fan now, and he needs to stop trying to make the impulsive moves to instantly gratifying his fan base. I believe that he is heading in that direction. Now, of course, a lot of the fans are up in arms over this. But f' them. If it gets you so worked up that you're going to cancel your season tickets, sell all your memorabilia, never watch another game and so on just because of speculation...then just do it already. Enough with the empty threats. Just leave.

Smooty, come on. Why go there and just throw your hands up and tell fans to just leave? That's not fair. People are frustrated and madder than hell. I think Snyder should care about what the fans think. After all, many of them were in place to support his beloved franchise decades before he even thought about football. I'll go a step further, yes, the fans should also influence, to some extent, how decisions being made impacts the franchise too. Should every decision made by Snyder have the fans in mind? Of course not, let's be real here. It's a business...but that's a two way street. You can't say on one hand I want to build a quality franchise, but on the other hand consistently rub the fan base the wrong way.

I happen to think he's responding more impulsively now than when he first began the coaching search. While he probably didn't care at all at the beginning of the search, I think it's quite possible that he is now paying some attention, proabably too much, to the outrage by the fan base.
