If fans were pissed after 2006 for him having one bad year compared to his level of work as a coordinator in Tennessee, Buffalo, and Washington then they werent very knowledgeable fans. People love to knock Gregg Williams but at least he coached the team and called plays on defense. Last time I checked Joe Gibbs was a HOF head coach and gave up his playcalling duties after the 2005 season. When that happened I wondered why he was even still coaching because he was basically a figurehead. Yet everyone backed him even me because we knew he was a winner and he does what is best for the team. Thats the reason why Gregg Williams was here for those 4 years because Gibbs knew Gregg Williams is a damn good defensive coordinator. Too bad Dan Snyder dont realize how good of a coach Gregg is.

Since you weren't here at this time last year and apparently not aware of how many here wanted to get rid of Williams I don't expect you to be able to give any reasoned answer.
