I am looking into purchasing a pair of new noise isolating headphones so I am excited to hear about this recommendation.

Matty and Jam, do you guys use these with an ipod? That is primarily where I listen to music so I want something that can bring it to life.

Also, an important factor for me is whether or not people around you can hear the headphones. I am on the train a lot and people get really annoyed here if they can detect even the slightest noise (you are actually banned from using your cellphone on the train in Japan, which I never understood because it's ok if you talk to your friend beside you).
