I think this section of the article says it all:

"The Zorn I talked to was over-emotional, antsy, defensive and very short on the ability to communicate general NFL knowledge–and I was just doing a soft story on the Seahawks during the off-season, so it wasn’t like I was plumbing the depths of intricate analysis."

Zorn probably thought he had an interview with a real sportswriter and this idiot showed up. Zorn was short with him and he got his feelings hurt. GET OVER IT. Well I guess the saying is true; "Hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned."
