Off the top of my head I can think of one hire that is inarguably worse...

At least we didn't hire a 31 year old college co-offensive coordinator, who was not responsible for play calling, and who no one had ever even heard of.

My friends Zorn could 0-16 and he'd still be a better hire than Lane Kiffin was.
