The point of the original post was to remind Redskins fans who thought Coles got run out of town of the fact that Coles has created his own professional atmosphere, and when things happen to him it isn't in a vacuum. I wasn't trying to bestow upon him victim status.

What have I done
? I just wanted to stand up for Coles and bring attention to the fact that the guys been through a lot, I never wanted too accuse people of making fun of or being insensitve towards special victims. Looks like I opened a can of worms. For everyone that feels I accused them of victim bashing I appologize.
Maybe I should go to ES, at least there I can make fun of "Om's" smiley faces
