I totally agree that Moss would be better than Welker if they traded spots, and it wouldn't be close. Welker is great in the slot because he's extremely quick, but he's not particularly fast. He also has two 4.3 guys (Randy Moss and Donte Stallworth) occupying the DB's downfield which isolates him against linebackers. Don't get me wrong, Welker had an incredible season, but he would be a severe liability as a #1 receiver in any offense. Imagine ANY linebacker trying to keep up with Santana in the slot. 'Nuff said.
