Thanks for your patience with helping me understand the cap more.
I hope that is the case and not that we are wanting to keep Brunell. He has nothing over a rookie at this point IMO. I'd rather take a chance on a QB out of the draft than keep him around with that horrendous salary.
About Daniels, I agree that 3.7 mil is not much for a dlineman, and his 2.0 mil cap number for 2009 is pretty easy to swallow too, but I do not agree he's solid. I thought he played poorly this year. DE is my #1 priority (again) this year with our first pick. So the question is, Is Daniels worth 3.7 mil as a back up? (although I understand the importance of waiting until the draft to be sure)
