Had to say it, didn't you Quake? Very angry face

Either way I don't get where people keep saying the guy is hurt all the time. At least get it right. He's been hurt recently. Before last year he had played in 16 games a year for three straight years. Also the guy got 10.5 sacks for two years in a row, playing at the traditional OLB spot in what I believe to be Blaches defense, but don't hold me to the Blache part.

I would imagine that he would have enough speed to play the Will spot which I believe is where Rocky plays. Plus he's use to being a backup. At the right price I think he's a great addition. Probably worth a contract thats slightly less then what we gave London Fletcher last year. However the market for a guy that has experience with one: rushing the passer and two: playing in both a 3-4 and a 4-3 is probably going to be more then we can afford at the moment.

Personally I like it if we can afford him. At the very least I expect us to make a run for him, but like Peter King said earlier our front office is going to be more willing to walk away.

Not many. If I remember right Keenan McCardell and Randel Godfrey signed for it last year, but both were considering retirement so those are the type of guy that you get for the veteran minimum. Also I think Quake was joking about offering the veteran minimum.

Either way I think the guys around here don't understand that in the NFL throwing that word around as often as its thrown around here is a great way to insult players and agents and burn bridges that you don't want burned. Part of the reason people didn't want to play for the Cardinals for so many years was because they were considered cheap.

The Redskins have their own problems but paying players fair market to above fair market value is not one of them.

Theres always going to be that armchair GM around here that thinks he's smart for saying we should only offer him the veteran minimum, but if you see him just let it be. Chances are he doesn't know what hes talking about. I say if you think a players going to cost to much, own up to it, and say it.
