Well at this point I'm convinced, weather I like it or not, the 21st pick will probably be Devin Thomas. The pick has Synder written all over it and with the FA WR market drying up at the current rate we'll probably end up coming out of Free Agency without signing a guy that will make Cerrato say "Ok we're set."
As far as Rachel not being there. Well I'm convinced that with the way the draft unfolds year after year, someone is going to fall. Maybe it'll be Shcueling, Chilo, Eric Young, Carl Nicks. One or two of those guys will be available in the second round when we pick. I mean last year I could have never predicted that one of the ten best players, in my opinion, Ryan Kalil, would fall to the bottom of the second round.
However right now while looking at a few profiles I think that the Redskins could be targeting Mike McGlynn in the 3rd round. Guy is solid at G and has experience playing every position on the line.
Laws looks good, but I would like to risk him falling to the third round before taking him. Of course at this rate he's looking like a mid 2nd round pick.
Right now I see the Redskins draft going as follows. This is more what I think the Redskins will do as opposed to what I want, however I approve of the following picks.
1st - Devin Thomas - WR - MSU
2nd - Tracey Porter - CB - Indiana
3rd - Mike McGlynn - G - Pitt
5th- Trade for DeWayne Robertson (I'm sticking to my guns on this one)
6th - Dennis Dixon - QB - Oregon
7th - Alvin Bowen - OLB - Iowa State
Other possible 7th Round Picks
Dennis Keyes - FS - UCLA
