I agree with the folks that are saying, "Why would Carolina let Peppers go if they still expected him to be productive?" Here are three reasons to pass:

1) Peppers will cost WAYYYY too much and if his best days are "in the rear view" that would really hurt our cap.

3) Daniels has at least one more solid year and he knows the system very well. Carter played well last year. Our back-up DEs appear to have potential.

Absolutely agree...except...Daniels and "one more solid season doesn't mesh well with me. He is inferior.

Plus, don't you guys remember the last "Pepper" to come thru DC....Pepper Rodgers.
