Wow this is gonna be GREAT for our Skins to open the season. Open up with the Superbowl champs on the road.

Should be a great game. Start the season off with a WIN on the road against the Giants. Can't wait!

Skins Get Thursday Season Opener Against Giants

Jason Reid has confirmed that the Redskins and New York Giants will play in the NFL season opener Thursday (Sept. 4) at Giants Stadium. An official announcement is expected to come Monday at the annual owners' meetings in Florida.
Note from the earlier posts that the NFL is considering changing the starting time of this game to 7 p.m., rather than 8:30, because that is the final night of the Republican Convention.
