I don't believe this to be the case. I bet 90% of the people who booed GW claim to hate the man, but again, these aren't the brightest bulbs we are speaking about.
Yes, Matty, your actions make you what you are. If you make bad decisions as the president of the US, it makes you an inept president. It does not make you a bad person and the people who cant distinguish the two are the simpletons in question.

This is how I see it and I think it is the biggest problem in country today in terms of politics and governance. Our political machine and it machinations, media, proganda, marketing, have turned our system into one of hate and emotionality. Are there BAD PEOPLE who get elected? Yeah, but truly bad people don't get elected all that often.
I would say even though a large majority of our elected officials have relatively large egos and are seeking some type of power I also believe that they do honestly believe they can do what is best for whatever their constiuency is. I believe this firmly of GW. I don't agree with a lot of what he has done and I strongly disagree with a few of the things he has done but I don't hate the guy. I don't think he is pure evil like so many idealogues would like us to believe. I strongly believe the guy has thought he was doing what was best for the country. It makes him a bad President, not a bad person. If you hate someone for being not very good at something then I pity you.
I don't hate Spurrier for being such a crap HC. And he was at least as bad at being HC as Bush is at being President.
