I believe that some people are speculating that Favre may even come back to the Packers (explaining why the Packers vs Vikings is the MNF opener), just like some people are speculating that the Bears will finalize a trade for McNabb soon (explaining why the Bears are kicking off NBC's Sunday Night coverage in '08).

I think the latter is more likely...but it is interesting that the Packers have yet to sign any backup QB (as far as I know).
