I think he's a pretty good prospect. I heard somewhere that he's best described as a poor man's Torry Holt and has the potential to be a playmaker in this league. He recently put away doubts about his speed by running a 4.38 at his pro day, so to the people who like to argue combine numbers, he's not a 4.5 guy.
Some people don't like him because he's not 6'1 or over, and I've heard that he's had character issues, but if it's another obstruction of justice guy I can live with it. Turns out that he might be making his way back into the 1st round, but I think it's still possible that he'll fall to us in the 2nd round.
He has what I look for in a prospect this early in the draft, good measureables to match college production, but I would still rather have Nelson. Obviously people are going to freak out if we draft him, but personally I would support it. Especially if we find a way to get 2 second round picks.
I'd say another 'small' guy that will get a look for the Redskins is Houston's Donnie Avery. Apparently though for some reason a guy who writes for the Buc's predicted that the Buc's would take him in the first round all because he ran a 4.38 at his pro day. Personally I think thats hog wash, and don't really see a guy who was seen previously as a 3rd round prospect jumping all the way up to the first round this late in the process. However he has decent size (5'11), production (1,400+ yards), and speed.
