Re: Redskins draft day trade for veteran WR
but is CJ worth 2 first rounders? I'm on the CJ bandwagon. I could see us picking in the first round under the assumption that the person we pick is going to the Bengals along with maybe Betts or someone else, I could see us giving up the first pick and maybe a
2nd or 3rd (not both) next yr. I would like to see CJ in a Redskin uni at (almost) all cost.
I'm betting the Bengals make the move. Maybe not with the Skins but I bet they make the move. They get rid of a disgruntalled employee and get top picks in return plus an extra next yr. Now that they let Henry go though they will need maybe two WR's. One to fill Henry's spot (possibly picked in later rounds) and one to fill CJ if he is traded not to mention RB cause their RB pick last yr ended up injured and not sure if he will be ready.
I could see us giving up the first and Betts( a proven RB) then we could pick a RB/FB in the draft to replace/groom for the future. We have Rock as a RB although I'm not enamored with him, he is ok. We have Mason who I think will fill Portis's roll perfectly. Smaller speedier, shifty RB. The latest pick up we got in free agency if nothing else can do the returning as far as I'm concerned let Rock be the #2 back.
