The best part though was the stereo I installed myself. The stereo was too small for the slot so I crammed a bunch of old towels under it to prop it up. And then I had one of those cassette adapters so I could plug in my pimpin' CD walkman, but it didn't have anti-skip protection so I had to hold on to it or set it in my lap when I drove around.

well, my
DISCMAN had a strap on it, so I hung it from the headrest in the passenger seat. then I was even cool enough to get one of those FM transmitters so you couldn't see the wires going into the tape deck, and people parked on either side of me at the public park could blast my music right along with me.
My ride:
same color, but picture a large dent just above the front tire (one on both sides from my mom leaving her parking garage at work after going to happy hour with the girls in her office) and a trunk that was bungee corded to a spare tire to keep it shut, along with a license plate that was stuck in the top of the deck lid with drywall screws.
my headliner was fine, but after a few months my stereo stopped working altogether, so I put a boombox in the passenger seat. Also the car only had one working interior doorhandle (which I transfered to the driver's side) . I still remember getting drunk and driving it into a pond twice in the same night... and the smell of mold. The car literally had standing water in the floorboard for weeks... i didnt wear shoes to school...
