Considering Johnsons philosophy on getting young this makes alot of sense. He knew how to build a team, but not how to rebuild it. Could you honestly see him getting rid of the tripplets for youth had he stayed longer (a few more seasons)? According to his ideals on youth he would have had to. He was too close to his stars for that IMO (based on player commentary).
