I would have preferred not to take this kid but since this pick has been made.... I'll take the wait and see approach with a developmental QB, if he doesn't pan out in camp he will either be a squad rat or down the road he goes.

But whats the deal with this kid with the off field and weight/surgery issues?

Despite a checkered off-field past, a poor showing in the Sugar Bowl, recent hip surgery, and a 30-plus-pound weight gain, Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan has been picked in the 2008 draft.

The Redskins landed Brennan with the 20th selection (No. 186 overall) in the sixth round.

Brennan was the tenth quarterback selected.
