Re: What this all means for Moss?

Providing Moss stays healthy, I see no reason why he shouldn't be able to post numbers comparable to his 2005 season. The only uncertainty for him is injury.

The fact we signed Thomas and Kelly will only serve to strenghten the competition. Don't look for Moss or ARE to take a back seat to two rookies who still have to find their way in the league.

Much has been made of the fact we signed two receivers from the draft, but we must keep in mind we lost three receivers in Caldwell, Lloyd, and McKardell. The only receiver we have who could be in future jepordy is ARE, his salry will take a huge hike in 2009.

Depending on how swiftly Devin Thomas can develop, he's the only receiver on the roster who could possibly compete with Moss as a deep threat. Since Thomas is still a rookie, Moss's services are going to be sorely needed.
