Run chkdsk on the drive from the command prompt:
1. Start | Run
2. Type "cmd" (w/o quotes)
3. Type "c:" (w/o quotes)
4. Type "chkdsk /r" (w/o quotes)
5. When it prompts you to run when computer restarts, enter "y" (w/o quotes)
6. Restart your computer
After it scans the disk on startup (which could take a while), then try to delete the file again.
