Re: Roger Goodell is cracking down on NFL hooligans

Considering we live in a country where 95% of the people who drink don't know how to hold their liquor, I'd say it's an excellent idea. Some of the stories I've heard of people at ball games makes me glad I stay at home.

However my only experience with a drunk fan came in 2003 when the Falcons faced the Redskins in Atlanta. Now when something exciting happened everyone would stand up, but there was this one guy that looked like Jared from Subway who was standing the entire time, and he was obstructing the view for a quite a few fans. Eventually someone told him to sit down but he looked at us and said something like "No, come on guys stand up." Eventually an usher got him to sit down but it was pretty annoying for the quarter worth of gametime he was doing it.

But yeah from what I've seen on TV and YouTube something needs to be done about the alcohol at professional sporting events.
