Anheuser-Busch bought Rolling Rock in 06 and it hasn't been the same since they moved operations from Latrobe to New Jersey. But Sam Adams is a great American beer.
Once the sale to InBev goes through, all of the Big 3 US Breweries (Coors, Miller, Anheuser-Busch) will be owned by foreign companies (MolsonCoors, SABMiller, InBev). So if you want to buy American, you'll have to go down to the MicroBrew or Craftbrew level...which isn't a bad thing.
