well, this is how they wanted it to be, and it seems to be working out slowly but surely...

1tb HDs are down from the original 999$ price tag to as low as 150$ now (internal HD, oem), eventually they'll be cheap enough to just expect people to have them, and at that point downloading games at 40$ vs 50$ in stores would be cheaper.
