Landry/Doughty easily had their worse game against Dallas (first one) last year. But they both showed steady improvement and by the end of the year I thought Doughty looked good enough to earn the job for this season. Nothing needs to be said about Landry because it's already been said, the kid impressed enough last season to know he was an excellent pick for us and he's going to be the future of that secondary.

I'm glad Blache made this move too, Doughty and Landry deserve to know this, especially Doughty. I look for him to continue to improve this season as well, he's only going to get better with more playing time. Schweigart is nice depth back there as well, but I hope one of the two starters don't get hurt because I don't have much confidence in him.
