I don't recall Edwards basing his platform on "family values." He was known for supposedly championing the rights of the poor. Might he have mentioned "family values" in speeches? Sure, but he didn't base his career on it. I personally think he's a
massive douche bag, but his affair isn't a big deal. I could care less what politician does with his pecker.
Also, I think it's awesome how you always say that people are "missing the point" whenever they disagree with you.
