The other argument here is this: Buffalo and Indy build their depth very differently. Buffalo's defensive second team -- many of them have starting experience, and the rest are highly touted picks who have yet to make it into the starting lineup for whatever reason, whereas the Indy second and third teamers tend to be a lot of undrafted rookies right out of conferences like the WAC -- basically the competition Brennan has been playing his whole collegiate career.
By this time next year, I would expect Brennan to be carving up second teamers across the league. Right now though, he's probably a bit over his head against Buffalo.
He should have much more success tonight.
