If it's true that Ramsey doesn't get snaps in practice, like someone said in another thread, then I think Joe Gibbs is completely senile. It's obvious that Mark Brunell is not playing well. You don't need three super-bowls to see that. He talks about how great Patrick Ramsey is and how he's not going anywhere. News flash buddy. Welcome to free agency. I can think of plenty of clubs that want a QB like Ramsey and Brunell's contract could hinder our signing of him, but nothing more than him not seeing game time and being stuck behing a struggling QB.
The rest of the team will soon start resenting him. This is more than just a game to them. It's a job. The defense is used too much and by the 4th quarter they get tired. Not to mention, how much more recognition would our amazing defense have if we had only a couple losses? The whole league would be talking about how great we are! I think their problems are mainly recognition, the other offensive players are the ones with the major gripe. This can affect their next pay-day. When they're not putting up stats because rag-arm can't hit them wide open. They get upset. The line would hold better when they don't stack 9 in the box, because unless we have 3 WRs they play man on, they know who gets the ball.
