On a semi-related note I remember getting into some gambling debt back in college. I was down $100 and I was bugging out thinking of having to make that phone call to Dad to ask him for the money to bail myself out of a measly $100, but back then when I was living on $50/week it was a huge deal. I ended up betting $100 on the Rams in the 4:00 game and they won and I broke even and I haven't bet on football since.

I am just saying if you are going to cry over something like this, wow you are going to be in some pain when life really throws you a gut shot.
Plus this sounds like it could have been an avoidable situation if he had the car repaired when it first started acting up. Save some money for a rainy day.
From what I have read about mooby's life on this web site (something to do with a legal issue and speeding), it sounds like a boy needs to grow into a man. We all do or had to at some point in our lives.
