Ramsey still has to prove he is over his bad habits.
Like....reading defenses poorly and forcing the ball into coverage...which in turn causes interceptions (see Giants game).
Holding on to the ball too long...which causes him to get sacked too much....which in turn causes fumbles.
He also needs to sense the pass rush around him. He is not good at side stepping a pass rusher. When he gets happy feet he ends up accidently running right into a sack, instead running away from one.
Also, what Joe Crisp said about not enough snaps/reps for Ramsey in practice to prove/show he is ready. There have been many Joe Gibbs backup QB's in his last tenure, who shined in practice running the scout team (by the way the scout team plays against our #1 ranked defense in practice), Stan Humphries, Mark Rypien, Jay Schroeder and Doug Williams to name a few. Gibbs brought in Doug Williams in the middle of the season when he got sick of Jay Schroeder making bad reads. Gibb's coaching staff have shown and proven they are more than willing to bring in a back up if they feel he is ready. They obvously feel Ramsey is not yet ready.
