I totally agree with you, Ramseyfan, though I think Matty's right, and the whole team will struggle the next 2 weeks, as well.
I'm a devoted Ramsey fan, but I know what his limitations are, and I know the circumstances for him right now are about as bad as they could be. That keeps my expectations for him pretty low over the next 4 games. All I'm hoping for is that he is able to show enough progression over the remaining schedule to maintain Gibbs's faith in him going into the offseason. I think the worst thing that could happen to this team is that Ramsey completely flops a la Brunell, and Gibbs feels no choice but to scrap the current quarterbacks and spend more money on another quarterback in the offseason.
I think it's highly unlikely that Ramsey will blossom as a quarterback this season-- there's just too many factors working against him at this point. But if he can show some signs that he's ready to take his game to the next level going into the offseason-- which is very possible given the matchups against weak defenses that close out the last three games of the schedule-- then I think Gibbs will stick to the Ramsey Plan, and work really hard this offseason on polishing him up for next season.
