So they surrendered a first rounder for Williams. And to justify that you just have to ask what WR would be available and worthy of a first round pick in the 2009 draft?
Essentially, Dallas used thier first round pick on a WR. They just did it in October instead of April is all.
I know, three picks is a lot, but I am just trying to put it in perspective is all.

The flaw in your logic is that his not signed beyond this year and will want a $$ BIG PAY DAY $$. Or else he will 1) hold out, 2) sign somewhere else or 3) have to be franchised for big $$. I firmly believe a team can't afford to pay for two TOP END WR's. Ask Arizona how that's going...
