The 818 yards are impressive but don't tell the whole story.

1. CP leads the NFC in rushing TDs (7, and only 1 behind White for the league lead)
2. He leads the NFL in runs of 20 or more yards (8, and that is 2 more than Jacobs of NYG who is second)
3. Portis has 43 rushing first downs, by far the league leader in that category. Marion Barber is second with only 33.

He also leads the league in carries. He is our workhorse and we will only go as far as he will take us. If he can stay healthy, he could shatter his own Redskins record for rushing yards in a season. He is well on his way to Hawaii in Feb.
