Ontheissues.org has a great system for giving prospective voters a look into the political views of canidates. On top of that you can take the quiz yourself and see not only your political views but what politicians you would be likely to support based on their voting records.

Anyway it's kind of funny being called a liberal but based on the results I guess that's in part where my political views fall on the great chart. Personally I think it would be cool to see what other people got on the quiz so if you're willing just copy the chart and paste it on the thread. Also make sure you click on the topics to make sure you know what it means to support or oppose a topic.
Some of them can be a little tricky and in turn you might click on an option that doesn't reflect your actual view. For example I clicked "support" for
Replace US troops with UN in Iraq even though oppose (my actual view based on the explanation) meant that I believed the US should stay out of foreign affairs as much as possible in the same manner advised by the founding fathers.
