Great defenses are exposing this team right now, but I'm not sure what that even means? I kind of feel like the coaches aren't exactly sure either.

Ditto, JC needs another year in this system. He hasn't earned a contract yet barring a good finish to this season. He's got, what 10 TD passes all season in 12 games. I think it would be premature to give him a contract at this point.
I like JC and I like the improvement he has shown. However, there are a lot of QB's out there that can be fairly successful when things are going well. When you've got a CP running for 150 yards it opens some things up. When you've got a oline blocking well, you can scan the field. What the elite QB do, is to find ways of scoring points and winning. I'm not convinced yet w/ JC. I do hope we've found our QB but i'm not going to annoint him yet.
